5H10.30 • Magnetic Fields: Magnet and Iron Filings

Location: Cabinet 2

Instructions / Notes:

• Briskly shake the the plexiglass container to get the iron filings in suspension.
• Place the plexiglass container on the document camera or a level overhead projector.
• Place a bar magnet beneath the bottom of the plexiglass container and make observations.
